A few days ago a fellow swinging friend of mine said that he is having issues with his wife. There are certain relationship-related problems that had surfaced after several months of swinging. Those issues are endangering his relationship, and he thought swinging is the main cause of this condition. I took the liberty of talking to his wife directly to see what is really going on, and what I found was rather surprising.

For those of you still thinking that swinging can damage relationships, it can’t. There are certain precautions that need to be taken when you are considering swinging as part of your lifestyle and relationship, and one of them is to solve relationship issues BEFORE you actually swing. What swinging does is bring issues like that to the surface. You may not even notice these issues before; yet swinging will cause them to surface. The challenge now is to solve these issues in a healthy way and improve your relationship substantially. After careful considerations, I let my friend’s wife know about these facts and advised her to solve their issues before swinging again.

I met my friend again just yesterday and he had the biggest ear-to-ear smile I have ever seen. Relationship problems, gone! He sat down with his wife and talked about their issues and how to solve them, and they have better relationship since. In the most unexpected manner, swinging does help you improve your relationship. Just keep an open mind, make sure you deal with issues before you decide to swing, and — should other issues surface — deal with any relationship problems you have while swinging accordingly; you will have an even better relationship in no time at all. If needed, you can also take a break from the swinging lifestyle and create stronger emotional bonds with your spouse first before continuing your journey in the swinging world.
